From July 17-23, Yoshinkan Aikido Kenshu Centers’ founder Geordan Reynolds hosted an intimate training camp with 23 time World Champion Kickboxer, Jean-Yves Theriault.

Our camp began with the Champ’s philosophy in the ring - don’t get hit!  This fit exactly with the largely aikidoka group and it appeared that he had been training these folks for years!  Our schedule was one of immersion - breakfast, lunch and dinner with the Champ.  Training in the dojo, on the beach and finally enjoying one of California’s premier hot spring resorts together.  Most interesting was the blend of our participants’ divergent backgrounds and the champ’s down to earth, matter of fact style.
