Through over eight centuries and generations of teachers and practitioners of feudal combat, ancient techniques come to us today with a philosophy for a contemporary society. These movements and ideas are presented to us through Shioda Sensei’s ideals of doing your best and never forgetting we are foolish.

We dedicate the Yoshinkan Kenshu Centers, Shindokan Aikido Dojo to the life, art and philosophy of Gozo Shioda a true giant in budo, education and thought.”
